Al Bredenberg, President and Senior Associate, has worked in the Internet marketing industry since its earliest days in 1994. He helped pioneer many of the online marketing concepts and methods that are now standard in the industry. He has held positions in Internet marketing and content development for various startups, including eMarketing Messages, Tailwind.com, EdGate.com, and Enterprise Interactive.
Previous to his Internet work, Mr. Bredenberg worked in management and in direct marketing. In his various capacities, he has worked on projects for organizations such as Bank One, McGraw-Hill, the Smithsonian Institution, Siemens, Hypo Bank, Olivetti, Kenwood, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and the Great Books Foundation. He has done Internet work for numerous technology and Internet companies, including DCI, 1Travel.com, mySimon.com, Top Hosts, Traveling Software, MyPoints.com, Brooklyn North Software Works, The Client Server Factory, and others.
Mr. Bredenberg holds a master's degree in management from Antioch Graduate School. He is author of the Profitable eMarketing: Success Strategies That Pay Off. He is also author of the Smart Business Guide to Internet Marketing, an electronic book first released in 1995, later published by Nikkei BP.
